FALL CLASSES       

AUGUST 9 - DECEMBER 17

BASIC TUMBLE CLASS/TUMBLE 1 - Ages 5 & up.  Athlete will work on basics, cartwheels, round offs, bridge kickovers, front walkovers, and back walkovers.

BACK HANDSPRING CLASS/TUMBLE 1.5 - ages 6 & up, must have a clean back walkover to join this level.  Athlete will work on standing back handsprings on the floor, and work on running round off back handspring.

INTERMEDIATE BACK HANDSPRING CLASS/TUMBLE 2 - ages 6 & up, must be able to throw a standing back handspring unassisted on the spring floor and a running round off back handspring unassisted on the spring floor to join this level.  Athlete will work on standing back handspring series, front handsprings, and running round off back handspring series.

ADVANCED BACK HANDSPRING/TUCK CLASS/TUMBLE 2.5 - ages 6 & up, must be able to throw a series of standing back handspring unassisted on the spring floor and throw a running round off series back handspring unassisted on the spring floor to join this level.  Athlete will work on standing back handspring tuck, standing tucks, running back running back handspring tuck, and punch fronts.

ELITE TUMBLE CLASS/TUMBLE 3 - ages 8 & up, must be able to throw and land at least 10 standing tucks during warmups, must be able to throw standing back handspring tucks, must be able to throw a series to a tuck - all athletes must have coach’s recommendation to join class.  Athletes will work on standing two to layout/full, running series to layouts, and running series to full twists.

ADVANCE ELITE TUMBLE CLASS/TUMBLE 3.5 - ages 8 & up, must be able to throw and land at least 10 standing tucks during warmups, must have a running series to a full twist - all athletes must have coach’s recommendation to join class.  Athletes will work on standing full twist, standing series to full twist, tumbling out of a full twist, Arabians, and running series to double full twists.

STANDING TUCK - ages 7 & up, must have a standing back handspring and running back handspring to join this class.  Class will not stretch with other tumble class – stretching will be limited and class will be taught drills and work strictly on standing tucks.

STANDING FULL TWIST - ages 8 & up, must have a standing tuck and running back handspring full to join this class.  Class will not stretch with other tumble class – stretching will be limited and class will be taught drills and work strictly on standing full twist.

JUMPS - ages 6 & up, will work on fundamentals of jumps for competitive cheer and school cheer - many of the competitive cheerleaders would benefit from this class.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLASS – ages 6 & up, class will not stretch with the other tumble classes – special attention will be paid to flexibility and strength training.

ADULT STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLASS – ages 18 & up, class will not stretch with the other tumble classes – special attention will be paid to flexibility and strength training.

FLYER CLASS – all athletes must have coach’s recommendation to join class – athletes will work on body positions and flexibility.

LITTLE GYM – ages 2 – 4 (must be potty trained – no pull ups or diapers on the gym floor), class will not stretch with other tumble classes – athletes will work on gross motor skills, very basic tumbling skills, they will sing, have circle time and play games.

CHEER FUNDAMENTALS – ages 5 - 7, athletes will work on jumps, tumbling, motions and some stunting as an introduction to cheer or to prep for competitive cheer tryouts.

CHEER 101 – ages 8 & up, athletes will work on jumps, tumbling, motions and some stunting as an introduction to cheer or to prep for competitive cheer/school cheer tryouts.

ADULT TUMBLING – must be 18 to join, athlete will not stretch with other tumble classes.  Athlete will work on back handsprings, back tucks and conditioning.
